Landed Cost for U.S. Pet Product Wholesale Orders

By Nuvipaw · Updated 2026-10-07

Compare a preliminary FOB unit price with the costs of getting the selected configuration to your U.S. destination.

A quote-comparison framework

The public Nuvipaw price ranges are preliminary USD FOB Ningbo references. This worksheet does not supply freight quotes, tariff rates or tax calculations.

What is the difference between FOB and your landed cost?

Ask suppliers to name the Incoterm, place or port and version in each quotation. Then map which costs each quote includes. A delivery label alone does not establish the importer of record or remove the need to confirm duties and exclusions.

Request these cost lines in USD

A practical cost model

Planning cost per received unit = (product order cost + additional shipment and entry costs not already included) ÷ received units. Keep one-time launch costs and recurring service costs visible in separate budgets. Use the same delivery destination, quantity, currency and configuration when comparing suppliers.

This purchasing model is not a customs valuation formula. Obtain the current classification and charges from your broker; CBP provides introductory import guidance. Tariff rates and exclusions are not fixed by this website.

What should a DDP proposal specify?

Ask who acts as importer of record, which charges are included, the named delivery address, paperwork responsibilities, quote validity and treatment of delays, inspections, storage or changed charges. Confirm the arrangement in writing instead of inferring it from a shipping estimate.
